Exhibitor Responsibility
Participation in the event is under the direct responsibility of the exhibitor, who is entrusted with the care and assistance of their cats for the entire duration of the show.
Well-being and Attendance
Cages must be equipped with water, food, and litter. Cats must remain in their assigned spots; swapping cage numbers or moving without authorization is prohibited.
Cats must remain on display until the indicated closing time.Judging and Organization
Exhibitors are required to personally present their subjects to the judging rings. The Committee reserves the right to add or replace Judges if necessary.

Vaccinations
- Trivalent (FVRCP): Mandatory for all entries.
- Rabies: Not required for residents of Italy. Foreign exhibitors must comply with EU pet travel regulations (EU Passport).
Special Requirements
- White Cats: Must have a medical certificate confirming the absence of bilateral deafness (hearing test).
- Minimum Age: Kittens must be at least 4 months old to enter.
Show Rules & Regulations
Entry is exclusively for cats registered in the catalog, which must remain on display for the duration of the event. Leaving cats in cages overnight is strictly prohibited.
Dimensions
Single cage: 65 x 65 x 65
Double cage: 130 x 65 x 65.
The use of personal cages is not permitted.
Exhibitors must ensure that food, water, and clean litter are available in the cage at all times during the show.
Exhibitors are responsible for their cats and must keep the cage and surrounding area clean.
Cats must be presented personally and promptly to the judging table when called.
By registering, you fully accept the above rules,
as well as ANFI and FIFe regulations.

- EMS color/code for the cat, sire, and dam
- Copy of the original pedigree (PDF or JPG)

Absent cats reported after the closing date must be paid no later than one week after the expo. Medical certificates for cats or owners are not accepted for fee waivers.
NON-ANFI MEMBERS: Advance payment is required for catalog inclusion.
Entry Methods
Please follow the correct procedure based on your cat's registry.
Cats registered in the ANFI National Studbook must be registered exclusively via the Personal Control Panel, available to both members and non-members.
Eligible Entries:
The online form registration is reserved for:
- Foreign cats or those registered with other MASAF-recognized Italian registries (Afef, Enfi, Agi, Fiaf).
- Cats with pending "LO" numbers (all fields must be completed).
- Cats with WCF, CFA, TICA pedigrees and Household Pets.
Limitations & Competition Classes:
Cats owned by Italian citizens registered with other Associations (MASAF, WCF, CFA, TICA), regardless of birth, can only compete in classes 12 - 11 - 10 - 09.
To register in classes higher than CAC/CAP, the owner must be a regular ANFI/FIFe Member.
International Exhibitors (FIFe): Registration is only valid with an entry form duly stamped and signed by your home Club.
Central Office Procedures:
All paperwork must be submitted and paid at least 10 days before the Expo. Entries with incomplete paperwork after this deadline will not be allowed to participate.
Documents to send within the 10-day deadline:
- Proof of payment for the registration fee.
- Certified copy or original pedigree (for transcription only).
- Pedigree request form for kittens.

What to pack for your first Cat Show
The Daily Agenda
Cat shows are true marathons. Check-ins take place between 07:30 and 09:30 AM, followed by judging. The event usually concludes around 06:30 – 07:00 PM.
Essentials
- Pet Health Record: Updated with all mandatory vaccinations.
- Rabies: Only required if the cat is coming from abroad.
- Microchip: Ensure it is readable and correctly registered.
Cage Setup
Single: 65x65x65 | Double: 130x65x65
- Hygiene: Bring a disinfectant spray and paper towels to clean the inside of the cage.
- Privacy: A set of curtains and cushions for the cage (essential to keep the cat calm and avoid stress).
Survival Kit
- Food & Water: Use water from home to prevent intestinal stress.
- Toiletries: Litter box and the cat's usual litter.
- Beauty Case: Brushes and grooming products for pre-judging touch-ups.
Staff Advice: A smooth day starts with a well-organized bag. If your cat is relaxed, the judges can evaluate them at their best and the public can admire them in all their glory!
